NO-BAKE Christmas Food Gifts You Can Do: Peppermint Mocha Coffee

A few weeks ago, Mom and I were doing an interview with Lisa at The Well and talked Christmas traditions. We mentioned how we love to combine our baking to give friends assorted Christmas treats.

Sometimes we go all out and make a wild variety – truffles, homemade marshmallows, fudge, anything we can dip in dark chocolate. Other years we stick to the basics – like Grandma’s decorated sugar cookies. No matter which recipes are on the menu, we always tag-team to make them. Then, we box them up, tie on a bow, and hand deliver to those we love.

But then Lisa asked… what ideas do we have for someone who wants to DIY a box of Christmas goodies but doesn’t like to bake or fears it won’t turn out?

Well, here you go… A blog post for our friends who don’t find their holiday jollies baking in the kitchen. You know, you don’t have to be an expert baker to give food gifts with confidence. Besides, who’s going to turn down a great treat you give?

Our top ideas for DIY Christmas food gifts for people who love food…just not cooking.

This is the first in a series of three posts – our ideas for giving delightful, no-fuss DIY Christmas food gifts. Now, there are plenty of recipes out there claiming to be “easy” or “no-bake.” But this isn’t that kind of recipe. No, these “recipes” are no-stir, no-dishwashing, no-mess…no-fuss…and they’re stunning to give! Truly!

For these easy DIY gifts, we’re taking high-quality, purchased items and creatively packaging to give your food-loving friend a gift they’ll enjoy. The biggest thing to remember when gifting these goodies: start with great-tasting, fresh ingredients.
